Do I need a reservation?

Yes, it is strongly recommended that you make a reservation for your visit with us. Although we do accept walk-ups when our schedule allows, we schedule our staff based on reservations and can fill up on certain days.  We also have a limited number of harnesses and helmets and need to ensure we have equipment for you.

How do I make a reservation?

You can make your reservation online or by calling the park you wish to visit. We will be happy to answer all your questions and to book your reservation for you. Note – for groups of less than 20 people, payment in full is required at the time of booking.

How old do you have to be?

All of our locations accept kids as young as 9 years old (minimum 55 inches in height), while some parks have activities for kids of all ages.  The older you are, the more courses you will have access to.

What should I wear?

You should wear comfortable athletic clothing suitable for the temperatures that day, and close-toed shoes like running or hiking shoes. Long hair should be tied back at all times.

What should I bring with me?

All the necessary safety equipment will be provided for you. Aside from comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes, it is also a good idea to bring a water bottle, snacks, and gloves; these items are also sold on site when in-stock.

Do I need to fill out a waiver?

All participants must fill out a Waiver before starting any activities. The Waiver will inform you of the potential physical and mental risks associated with the activities. Anyone under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed and initialed by a legal guardian.

Are the activities supervised?

Yes, each of our activities is supervised by a trained guide. The level of supervision varies by activity.

What happens if it rains?

We climb rain or shine! We don’t let the rain slow us down one bit, and Treetop Trekking is safe in the rain. The only time we will put activities on hold is if there are thunderstorms or high winds. When this happens, we close our activities until the severe weather has passed, and get everyone back up and going as quickly as possible.

If high winds or thunderstorms persist and the manager decides that activities can not resume, customers will be issued a rain check for the unused portion of their activity.

What payment options are available?

You can pay for your climb by cash, debit card, Visa or Mastercard. We also accept cheques for corporate or school groups.

When do I need to pay?

For groups of less than 20 people, we require payment in full at the time of booking. This is most often done by credit card online or over the phone. For groups of 20 people or more, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due on the day of your visit.

Can children climb the courses on their own?

Children 11 years and under must be accompanied by an adult while climbing. Participants aged 12 – 17 years old must have a parent or guardian on site when they are climbing, but the adult does not need to climb with them. Anyone under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian before climbing.

Is Treetop Trekking open all year?

No, we do close for the winter. Our main operating season is from April until the end of October.
